Annabelle saves the day by cranking up her courage and jumping over a reflection of the moon on the rising flood waters in the pasture creek so she can go moo at Farmer Frank’s bedroom window. Because of this incident, the truth about Annabelle’s trick of getting out of the pasture is revealed. This story also promotes the positive values of family farm life.
